As a social services professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Social Work, she's not your typical "techy" founder.


But she has worked with enough membership organizations to recognize a problem and resourceful enough to curate the solution that is known today as JourneyCARE.



Joy has been widely recognized as a speaker, an online educator and a trusted advisor, twice winning the “Unsung Hero Award” from the National Association of Women Business Owners' Central Illinois Chapter. She also has extensive experience in strategic planning, team facilitation, change management, and association operations.
